Our Story
Feoda was born when our founders Ravi and Josh recognised the problems they were solving for businesses could also be solved for schools.
As parents, they saw what their children’s schools were dealing with when it came to enrolment, fee collection and administration. While commercial organisations had access to enterprise-grade finance and accounting software, most schools had to do with “small business” technology.
They realised the key to making a better solution accessible to schools was efficiency: if the new system created a high enough initial return on investment, it would open the door to adopting more powerful technology.
The first Feoda rollout created dramatic results: 2,000 hours of effort per year was won back from fee management alone. Since then, our mission has remained the same:

Originally from a finance and accounting background, Ravi’s passion for technology inevitably led him to leadership roles in the ERP and cloud services space. An innovator at heart, the next logical step was founding his own technology company, where he’d be able to create his own solutions and see the difference they made firsthand. Since then, he’s been solving business problems and enabling lasting change for multinational organisations in the finance, manufacturing and education sectors.
Josh Brownlie..

Josh spent his first 7 years as an auditor with KPMG in Sydney and Hong Kong and has a keen interest in the internal workings of various businesses and business types. He has since gained more than 15 years’ experience in developing and launching physical products, production processes, international business structures, web-based software systems and has worked with venture capital and investment banks.
